For the past six months, many of our host employers accepted our challenge and joined the ongoing Hire 150 Interns project. They made a hiring impact by signing up to hire an intern, and in the process, were entered in a draw to win a trip.
We’d like to thank everyone who accepted the challenge, and we’re excited to announce that Strata Insights has won The Great Escape!

Winner of The Great Escape trip for two: Mark Radhakrishnan, Vice President of Strategy at Strata Insights
Mark Radhakrishnan, Vice President of Strategy at Strata Insights, shares why their organization signed up, “We are so happy to be making an impact by hiring an intern through Career Edge. Being an immigrant myself, I know first-hand the challenges individuals go through as they strive to secure a job (preferably one in their field) while trying to acclimate to their new surroundings. At Strata Insights, we recognize the immense value new immigrants, members of the armed forces, new grads, and those with disabilities contribute not just to the corporate bottom line but to society as a whole, and we are proud to partner with an organization that strives to support those individuals.”
Courtesy of the HRPA, Strata Insights won accommodations and roundtrip airfare to visit one of these cities: San Francisco, San Diego, Orlando, New York, or Las Vegas.
To celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial anniversary, Career Edge continues to challenge Canadian employers to rally behind their respective industries and hire 150 interns through Career Edge in 2017.
Although The Great Escape has passed, it’s never too late for you, your organization, and your industry to make an impact in 2017.
