Website Accessibility Conformance

Our mission is to have a website that is accessible to people with a diverse range of hearing, movement, sight, and cognitive abilities while also being compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers/magnifiers, Braille embossers, speech recognition software and adaptive keyboards and pointer systems. With this objective in mind, Career Edge performed a comprehensive website audit, combining both manual and semi-automatic methods of evaluating our website for accessibility.

As a not-for-profit organization, we took a creative, resourceful, and research-driven approach in auditing our website to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. Calling upon our diverse network of stakeholders, our website was tested by a group of volunteer users, while also being put through a rigorous assessment using HTML authoring tools and manual evaluation techniques.

Through the combined efforts and feedback of a diverse group of individuals committed website accessibility, Career Edge proudly meets the WCAG 2.0 AA level of conformance.
