Approximately one third of Canada’s Top 100 Employers (2018) are Career Edge employers! In its 19th year, the national competition determines which employers are leaders in their industries and offer an exceptional work environment for their staff.

Employers are assessed against other organizations in their industry to decide which are most progressive and innovative. Editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers select the winners based on eight metrics:

  1. Physical Workplace;
  2. Work Atmosphere & Social;
  3. Health, Financial & Family Benefits;
  4. Vacation & Time Off;
  5. Employee Communications;
  6. Performance Management;
  7. Training & Skills Development; and
  8. Community Involvement.

Employers may apply for the 2019 competition in early 2018, and the winners will be announced in The Globe and Mail in fall of 2018.
