I’m a millennial,
Employers think hiring me is risky,
But I know it’s not a risk,
I’ll help turn their company from obsolete to innovative.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I’m lazy and entitled,
But I have many years of relevant volunteer experience, worked part-time jobs while I took full-time classes to pay for my education, and developed a can-do attitude,
I’ll work just as hard, if not harder than your company’s baby boomers.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I only care about money,
But I have many other values,
I’ll stay if your company is ethically and socially responsible, cares about my health and life outside the office, supports my professional development through ongoing training, and gives me meaningful work.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I won’t fit in,
But I’ve worked on teams for years, learning from many diverse groups of people,
I’ll work in a team setting and make those around me work harder for your company.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I’m immature and not ready to contribute,
But I think constantly, and differently from baby boomers, and have opinions on everything,
I’ll pitch my new and fresh ideas as soon as your company is ready to listen, and as long as your company makes me feel comfortable.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I waste my time on technology,
But I’m digitally brilliant,
I’ll discover more efficient operations methods to save company expenses.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think I need constant supervision,
But I’ve worked alone for many years, learning how to effectively manage my time,
I’ll make your life easier if your company gives me the perfect levels and combination of structure, guidance, freedom, and feedback.

I’m a millennial,
Employers think hiring me is risky,
But I know it’s not a risk,
I’ll help turn their company from obsolete to innovative.
