Need someone to educate your students on the latest job searching tips? Need someone to tell them about the growing number of paid work-integrated learning opportunities available in Canada? Or, need someone to connect your business’ diverse hiring needs with a graduating student? We got you.
Now, in the third rendition of National Internship Awareness Month, we’re sharing some campaign highlights from INTERNSHI*S SHOULDN’T BE A DIRTY WORD, a message we spread across Ontario post-secondary campuses to dispel common internship myths: Only available during the summer (we offer all year!), only unpaid (ours are paid!), and only temporary (80 per cent of Career Edge interns secure meaningful, permanent employment within three months of completion!).
The Career Edge travels spanned as west as Western University, south to Mohawk College and McMaster University, as east as Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, and north to Georgian College – while claiming the Greater Toronto Region and the downtown Toronto financial district as its home field.
Educating students on the latest job searching tips: resume advice, LinkedIn tips, Applicant Tracking System strategies, disability disclosure, social media branding, mentorship programs, and more!
